The word corruption has taken a toll on many people's lives in India. Corruption has been always been an add-on bonus for any government party which comes to power in India. Recently the level of corruption is known to increase to a considerable level where people of India can take no more.
At this time a person names Anna Hazare comes forward to take a drastic step in order to eradicate this corruption from the country. Anna Hazare along with his soldiers forming Team Anna did introduce something called Jan-Lokpal Bill. This Jan-Lokpal bill is basically introduced in-order to filter out the corrupt pawns out of the government. After repeated requests to the government to pass this bill there has been no considerable step taken. As a result of this Anna Hazare has started the Epic way of protesting "The Hungry-strike". Seeing a man fighting for his country the Indian youths have also joined him forces to intensify the heat of protest and the importance of Jan-Lokpal Bill.
It has been like almost half a month and the government is still deaf. The reason is as simple as it gets. Once the Jan-Lokpal bill is passed the ministers will be majorly targeted and it will be like a frog inside a snake's mouth. Every minister involved in every form of corruption will be punished with a minimum jail sentence of about 3 years. If you were one of them you wont even dream of passing the bill.
If the bill is passed will it really make a difference? I would say India would still remain the same. Once a man gets power and pride he would for sure use it in his favor and I dont think anybody controlling a country will be humble and follow the slogan "for the people, by the people". My predictions can always be wrong.
I am proud to be an Indian and will remain to be so but if we want to destroy the term corruption in India its upto the people of India to do so. Stop bribing and stop getting bribed. Such protests will only lead to traffic jams and late to office problems. And do not mistake me. I just told how things has to be done in the proper and fair way. That is the main reason for me to write this post.
